<p class="Paragraph"><a name="standardfilter"/><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Specify in this dialog the logical conditions to filter your table data.<a name="ende"/></help:help-text> This dialog is called <span class="T1">Standard Filter</span> in Spreadsheet documents, <span class="T1">Filter</span> in database tables or database forms. The <span class="T1">Filter</span> dialog doesn't contain the <span class="T1">More</span> button.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">You can define a default filter by indicating the type of line, the name of the field, a logical condition and a value or a combination of arguments.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">For the following arguments, you can choose between the logical operators AND / OR.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">From the list box, select the field names from the current table to set them in the argument.</help:help-text> You will see here the column identifiers if no text is available for the field names.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">From this list box, you can select among various <help:link Id="65906">comparative operators</help:link> through which the entries in the <span class="T1">Field name</span> and <span class="T1">Value</span> fields can be linked.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Enter a value to filter the field.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> Calc spreadsheets contain a list box with all possible values performed in the <span class="T1">Field name</span> column. <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>Here you can select "empty" or "full", <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>to specify empty or filled entries.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">If you use the filter function in database tables or forms, then enter the value in the text box to be used for filtering.</p>
